On the afternoon of Saturday 23rd of February, 25 French animal activists from the Coalition Anti-Vivisection met to shame Escada in Paris.
Our target for the day was their boutique on the Avenue Montaigne:

The Avenue Montaigne is a well known in Paris because it is also home to boutiques from the likes of Dior, Armani, Gucci, D&G and so many other "fashion" houses who, like Escada, use the skins of innocent animals...Oh how victimised you must have felt to be singled out Escada, being only one of many scum companies in the area!
2 Megaphones were in constant use denouncing Escada, the fur industry they support and the heartless monsters who so shamelessly wear the fur they sell. The noise was deafening and many people who passed covered their ears or crossed the busy road whilst many others came to see what the noise was about.
Hundreds of leaflets were distributed and many people were turned away from their doors, whilst yet more left after a few minutes, clearly frustrated that they couldn´t shop in peace....so yet more lost sales for you Escada, and all because you profit from the deaths of innocent creatures! Plenty of people wearing fur were publicly shamed, and often they chose to walk in the other direction to escape our attention...maybe some of them were your customers Escada?
We are ashamed to admit that they still made two sales during our protest, despite our best efforts, although next time we will be louder and fewer people will dare to enter their shop of death.
As we know that you are reading this report Escada, this message is especially for you....This was just our first action against you in Paris, but it won´t be our last. Whether it´s on the Avenue Montaigne or at one of your many other boutiques, we will be there to turn away your customers again and again until you stop supporting the murder of innocent animals for the vanity of ugly, heartless people with more money than morality!!!
