27.10.2007 - Tallinn (Estonia)
On Saturday, October 27th, the local Animal Rights group "Loomade Nimel" (In the Name of the Animals) held their first demonstration against ESCADA in Estonia. 15 activists distributed approx. 300 leaflets during the demo, banners were shown to people passing by and the local media took 2 interviews.
The shop selling ESCADA products in Tallinn is usually open at weekends but this Saturday the shop was closed in a cowardly fashion. Activists gave a strong message that they will carry on with demos outside the shop if ESCADA continues to sell fur.
